The Team
Jovana Nikic
Jovana Nikic is the GM and co-founder of the company. She has 15 years experience in customer service in various fields. Throughout her career she has been developing direct relationships with customers, analyzing and satisfying their needs. Throughout the years she has managed teams of 10 people in catering business. She deals with yacht chartering since 2009, when she got also her sailing diploma. Jovana speaks Serbian (mother tongue) and fluent English and Greek.
Kostas Gekas
Kostas Gkekas is also co-founder of the company. He has 12 years experience in client-facing corporate positions, having received on-the-job-training from world top professionals in customer services. Kostas has gained professional experience in managing people, which has offered a lot to his sailing trips. He has been sailing since childhood, holds a sailing diploma since 1992 and is a skipper in Greek waters for the last 5 years. Kostas holds a Bachelor's and MA in Economics; he speaks Greek (mother tongue), fluent English and some German, and fights in vain to learn the Serbian language.
The Skippers
Dimitris Ploumidis is a freelance skipper who sails 15-20 weeks per year around the Cyclades islands, the Ionian Sea, the Dodecanese islands and the Argosaronic Gulf. As a sailor, Dimitris has earned a diploma of Open Sea(NOPF), has worked in daily cruises around Mykonos and has made a transatlntic crossing in 2014. Dimitris speaks Greek, English and Spanish(basic), he has been involved in the publishing of 6 travel guides, as an author and photographer. His knowledge will make sure that your trip route will include the best destinations and experiences.
Nikolas Piperas is a experienced skipper with almost 15,000 NM on his CV. He got his sailing certificate in 2004 and since then his goal is to sail as much as possible. Nikolas speaks Greek, English, German and Spanish, he has sailed around the Cyclades, the Sporades, the Dodecanese and the Argosaronic Gulf. He is sure to take you to unforgettable destinations.
Thomas Kranatsis is a freelance charter and delivery captain with over 35,000 NM as a skipper in Greece, Turkey, Croatia, Spain and the BVI. He has 17 years experience in the hospitality industry as a barista and event manager, he speaks Greek, English and Spanish. He is a qualified RYA cruising instructor and has made transantlantic yacht deliveries more than once. Choose Thomas as your skipper and he will make your sailing vacation a unique experience.
