Activity Description

Parnitha (formerly Parnis) is a mountain in Attica, north of Athens, with a total area of ​​about 300 square kilometers and the highest peak is Karambola (1,413 m). It is covered by pines at its lowest and fir at its highest. Parnitha has been declared an area of ​​great natural beauty and a significant part of it is the homonymous National Park, which was founded in 1961.

It is part of the Natura 2000 network, is an important bird area (SPA) and has been declared a place of great natural beauty (25638). / 1269 Ministry of Agriculture), and after the 2007 fire, areas of protection were designated by Presidential Decree.

Parnitha is the ideal place for pleasant hiking trips, without any particular difficulties and dangers. Parnitha's trails are walkable and signposted, ideal for beginners but also for the more experienced. The routes are safe in the firs and tailored to the team's potential. If we are lucky we may also encounter deer on our route.

  • Cancellation 7 days or more prior to the agreed activity starting date. You are automatically reimbursed for the full activity price.
  • Cancellation between 3 and 7 days prior to the agreed activity starting date. You are entitled to a 50% reimbursement.
  • Cancellation 3 days or later are what we call last-minute cancellations. No reimbursements will be effected.

 

* If the activity is canceled by the activity provider (due to weather, non-completion of minimum entries, force majeure, etc.), the price of your activity, is refunded in full.
