Gentilini Winery & Vineyards
Our winery was founded in Kefalonia by Spyros Kosmetatos who named it Gentilini in honor of his "godmother" (grandmother in Kefalonian idiom) Marianna Gentilini, the last descendant of a local aristocratic family.
Faithful to the tradition and philosophy of the previous generation, we aim to produce exciting wines of top quality, promoting the unique flavors and aromas of the local Kefalonian varieties.
Today we cultivate over 100 hectares of vineyard and produce a range of ten wines.
Quantities are kept low to ensure high quality, without the compromises that more mass production can bring.
Alongside the main production, we make sure to keep our creativity high and evolve by producing experimental wines every year.
In addition, we have a dedicated and highly skilled team in the vineyards who ensure us the best raw material, two highly knowledgeable guides, and at least two apprentices who round out our team, gaining valuable experience at the same time. Especially at harvest time, our winery is buzzing with life and reflects the positive energy of people who work hard but get great satisfaction out of it.
