Activity Description

We'll leave Omalos and travel to Sougia, where you'll have 1 hour of free time to explore the beauty of the beach. From here, we'll board a boat that will take us to the small village of Agia Roumeli, the starting point of our hiking route through the Samaria Gorge.

We'll embark on an easy 4-hour 30-minute hike that will show us some of the beautiful nature of western Crete. Specifically, we'll reach the Iron Gates, the narrowest part of the gorge - you'll be able to touch both sides!

At the end of the walk, we'll return to Agia Roumeli, where you'll have 1 hour of free time to have lunch in a local restaurant. With your batteries recharged, we'll return to the boat that will take us to Sougia. There the bus will be waiting for us to take us back to Canea. The tour will end at approximately 8:30 pm.

*Please note: The pick up starts from the area of Kolimbari and ends at Chania area. (Kolimbari, Tavronitis, Maleme, Gerani, Platanias, Agia Marina, Stalos, Kalamaki,Ag. Apostoli, Chania City, Halepa).
