A late afternoon tour of Meteora is an excellent way to enjoy the tranquility of the landscape at times when there is no tourist congestion. Enjoy the unforgettable views from the top of the cliffs while our local guides take you on a journey deep into the cultural heritage of the area.

Our sunset tour of Meteora begins with a visit to a monastery, either Agios Stefanos or Agia Triada, depending on which is open each day of the week. We continue our way to the village of Kastraki where we come across the impressive hermitages of Batova.

Then a visit to the 15th-century Byzantine church of Panagia in the old town of Kalambaka. Our guides give us a detailed introduction to the history and local legends from the best viewpoints of the area.

Continuing our tour we take an uphill route to the top of the rocks for the highlight of the day. The sunset is unique. Enjoy the colorful sky from the edge of the cliff while the light changes every moment.
