Activity Description

Hermes is a special trail of great historical interest. It starts above Platanakia in the Panorama area and crosses the path of Vathylakos, reaching the French springs, which were built in 1917 by the French army of the east.

The first 500 meters are particularly steep, but the rest of the path consists of a smooth route on the edge of the canyon. Waterfalls, caves, and historic buildings mingle with nature. The total length of this path is 5 km with a total ascent of 170 meters.

Activity Description

On the day of your experience, your instructor will pick you up from your preferred location at an agreed time and take you to Seih Sou, a forest next to the outskirts of Thessaloniki. We will start our hiking experience at the edge of the forest next to the suburb of Panorama and follow a 7km trail through wooded landscapes. The path of Apollo is a path of moderate difficulty. We will follow a forest road and a path that climbs 190 meters, but you will be rewarded with peaceful scenery!

Your hiking instructor is fully informed and will give you the advice and information you need. In the end, the instructor will offer you water, and snacks and then drop you back at your location so you can continue your day in Thessaloniki.
