Canyoning in the Gorge of the Basilicas & the Waterfalls of the Popes! A "hidden" paradise in Northern Evia!

A few words about our adventure…

Our starting point is the beautiful village of Papades. After a short hike of about 15 min. in a beautiful fir forest we enter the riverbed.

A fairy world with clear waters, dense forest, rich landscapes, unique colors, and impressive waterfalls awaits us as we cross the "unknown" gorge that connects the mountain village of Papades with Vasilika.

A route for nature lovers, but also for adrenaline thanks to its technical passages in its narrow points.

A gorge that includes literally everything and clearly proves that the canyoning activity combines a variety of other activities. We will enjoy enough river trekking and walking in the gorge thanks to its long length, as well as a walk of about 35 minutes on a fairytale path at its exit.

The hike to reach the entrance of the gorge takes 15 minutes, while the exit from it takes about 35 minutes. There is plenty of walking during the Canyoning in the Gorge of the Basilicas & the Waterfalls of the Popes.

Our goal is to instill in our participants a love for nature and outdoor activities. All our activities are implemented with specially trained drivers/escorts and follow all safety rules!

Cancellation policy

Cancellation 7 days or more prior to the agreed activity starting date. You are automatically reimbursed for the full activity price.
Cancellation between 3 and 7 days prior to the agreed activity starting date. You are entitled to a 50% reimbursement.
Cancellation 3 days or later are what we call last-minute cancellations. No reimbursements will be effected.

* If the activity is canceled by the activity provider (due to weather, non-completion of minimum entries, force majeure, etc.), the price of your activity, is refunded in full.
