Ride a quality e-bike and guided by a local, explore the beautiful island of Aegina. Another world just 1h15min from the port of Piraeus. Discover the natural beauties, the cultural highlights and hidden treasures of an island so close to Athens. A beautiful neoclassical city, an impressive church, ruins of a medieval citadel and ancient temples. Olive groves, vineyards, and of course pistacio trees, the renown Aegina Nut! There will be time for swimming and relaxing.

Itinerary

Early in the morning you meet your guide in front of Active Holidays offices in Koukaki; little further the lively pedestrian street of Georgaki Olympiou. Short briefing, pick up of e-bikes and equipment. You will ride to the port of Piraeus, from where you will board the morning ferry to Aegina, arriving after approximately 1h15min. Fantastic e-bike circular tour on the island. There will be time for swimming, stroll through the picturesque neoclassical town, before boarding the ferry back to the port of Piraeus and eventually return to Athens historical center.

Total cycling: about 50 km, +570m / -570m, paved & dirt roads, moderate

Total walking: about 6 km, +310m/-310m, simple
