7-day sailing in Volos - Sporades - Skiathos

Indicative program:

1st day:

• Meeting at the main port of Volos and boarding the sailing ship 17.00
• Meet the skipper and welcome drink.
• Arrangement of passengers in the cabins and supplies by the crew.
• Departure at 18.00 pm for the islet of Trikeri in Pagasitikos Gulf.
• The estimated arrival is 20.00 pm.
• It's the perfect time to enjoy dinner at the tavern in front of our mooring. You can try spaghetti with crayfish or tsipouro. Don't expect to find any nightlife here, on the island life is very quiet. However, we can finish our day with an evening drink on the boat.

2nd day:

• Breakfast on board.
• Also, hiking enthusiasts can visit the monastery of Panagia.
• We start at about 11.00 am. with destination Alonissos.
• Intermediate stop for a swim at a Skopelos beach (Milies, Stafylos, or Panormos) so you can take a dip in the crystal clear waters and enjoy cool drinks and a light meal on board.
• Leaving Pagasitikos Gulf we sail towards the Aegean where we can raise the sails and enjoy the first day of sailing.
• We depart for our final destination, Steni Valla of Alonissos, we will anchor in an incredibly beautiful natural harbor, where you can enjoy fresh fish in one of the taverns or a walk in the Old Village of Alonissos 10 km away from the mooring point.
• The area has several marked hiking trails.
• For diving enthusiasts, we can arrange an instructor and diving equipment so you can see ancient wrecks around the area.
• You can also go swimming at the beach 5 minutes away from the mooring point.

3rd day:

• Breakfast on board.
• We start at 10.30 am in the morning for Kyra Panagia, an uninhabited small island in the north of Alonissos.
• We follow the route between Alonissos and Peristera an ideal place for sailing since there is always wind but with a calm sea.
• After 2 hours of sailing, we reach the southern entrance of Kyra Panagia and anchor at Ag. Petro, in deep blue waters for swimming.
• Then follows a meal on board.
• At 5:30 p.m. we will start for the northern part of the island and the unique entrance to Planetis, the largest natural harbor of the Mediterranean protected from all weather conditions.
• We can enjoy night swimming and dinner on board.
• Overnight on the "dry island" like the Robinsons.

4th day:

• You can take a morning swim and enjoy your breakfast on board.
• We head to the Eastern side of the island where we can stop for 1 hour in the bay where you find the monastery that you can visit.
• Then going down to Alonissos we will enter the "blue cave" for lunch and a swim on the beach of Peristera.
• We arrive early in Steni Valla because we must visit the Old Village of Alonissos 10 km away from the mooring point to enjoy the sunset!!
• Food, shopping, and evening drinks in the unique alleys.

5th day:

• You can take a morning swim and enjoy your breakfast on board.
• We then sail to Kokkinokastro a sheltered bay for a swim and light lunch on board. Departure for Skopelos at 17.30 pm sailing along the coast of Alonissos.
• Arrival in Skopelos at approximately 20.00 pm.
• There you can stroll through the picturesque alleys of Skopelos, maybe do some souvenir shopping and have dinner at a restaurant or tavern.
• You can also end your evening with a drink at any bar on the island.

6th day:

• Departure from Skopelos around 09.30 am. after breakfast.
• Weather permitting, we can visit the rock of Agios Ioannis where the famous wedding scene in the movie "Mamma Mia" was filmed. There you will be given the opportunity for amazing photographic moments and dives in waters of incomparable beauty.
• We depart for Skiathos to Lalaria Beach, one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. There you can enjoy your bath and sunbathing.
• At 5:30 p.m. we leave for the country the island of Skiathos.
• Arrival in Skiathos at approximately 6.30 pm.
• The island is the most cosmopolitan of the Sporades. From the moment we arrive, you can start your walks on Papadiamanti Street, the main shopping street of the city, the old port, and Bourtzi.
• Disembarkation takes place the next day at 09.00 am. in Oreus, in Northern Evia.

7th day:

• Departure at 12.00 am after breakfast on board or our morning walk.
• We sail between North Evia and South Pelion.
• Intermediate stop for swimming and eating on the boat at the small island of Tsougria or at Pontikonissi.
• We are leaving for Oreoi in Northern Evia. We arrive at approximately 20.00 pm. where you can visit the Thermal Baths of Edipsos which are 20 minutes away by taxi.
• In the evening you can enjoy dinner in a tavern in front of the boat.

8th day:

Early in the morning, we start for the return to the port of Volos, around 10 am.

• Departure from Agiocampos or Volos.

• An excellent experience will be our wandering in the caves of the marine park, where the Mediterranean seal monachus - monachus lives.
• A unique experience beyond the usual, with a bow to the unknown deserts of Giura - Kyra Panagia - Psathoura - Skandzoura.
• The main axis on which we will move is Agiokampos - Trikeri - Skiathos - Skopelos - Alonissos.
