Tour Details

Day 1

Your adventure starts at the Thessaloniki railway station, where you'll need to board (on your own) a comfortable train bound for Kalabaka.
As the train winds through the picturesque Greek countryside, you'll witness the transition from urban energy to the tranquil beauty of the landscape.
Upon arrival in Kalabaka, a local guide will welcome you and accompany you to your accommodation.
After settling in, the afternoon invites exploration of the charming town and the surrounding area with a majestic sunset tour.

Day 2

Wake up to the breathtaking views of Meteora and enjoy a hearty breakfast before embarking on a morning or hiking tour (your choice) of the monastic complex.
Explore selected monasteries, each a testament to centuries of history, religious significance, and architectural brilliance. Absorb the spiritual ambiance and panoramic vistas that make Meteora a unique destination.
After the tour, a leisurely lunch in Kalabaka provides an opportunity to recharge before spending the afternoon at your leisure. As the day draws to a close, board the return train to Thessaloniki.

Dress Code

Visitors and pilgrims are required to adhere to a dress code to enter the monasteries.

Women should wear a skirt (covering the knee) and have their shoulders covered.
Men should wear long pants or shorts (covering the knee) and have their shoulders covered as well.
